My fellow Americans! The Time to Honor the Independence of our Great Nation is Near! And how shall we Celebrate this most Joyous Holiday? By bearing Witness to the Thoughtful Use of Taxpayer Dollars in the form of Multiple, Colorful, Aerial Explosions!

In other words, take the family out this weekend to see the great fireworks presented by the following communities:

St. Charles
  • Where: Pottawatomie Park (8 North Ave, Saint Charles)
  • When: Saturday, July 4
  • Events
    • Red Woody (Rock/Classic Rock/Alternative) 6pm
    • Fireworks at sunset (which we suppose means, "when it's dark enough")
Geneva
  • Where: Elfstrom Stadium (34W002 Cherry Ln, Geneva)
  • When: Friday, July 3, after the Kane County Cougars game vs. the Peoria Chiefs
    • Game starts at 6pm, so fireworks should start sometime after 9pm (unless the game enters extra innings!)
BataviaAurora/North Aurora
  • Where: Illinois Math and Science Academy (1500 Sullivan Rd, Aurora)
  • When: Friday, July 3, at 9:30 pm
  • Events
    • Circus Boy (comedy and juggling) 6pm to 6:45pm
    • DBL-SHOT (Rock/Metal/Classic Rock) 7pm to 8pm
    • Aurora Summer Concert Band and skydivers 8:30pm to 9:30pm
    • Fireworks 9:30pm
    • Cartoons 10pm
