Concert for a Cure 2009

The 2009 "Concert for a Cure" will be held at Tanna Farms Golf Club, 39W808 Hughes Road in Geneva. Doors will open at 1 p.m. with the first of nine bands to follow at 2 p.m. The subsequent 8-hour non-stop music extravaganza will be produced by Rank Entertainment and WXRT's Richard Milne. Lisa Dent, morning co-host at US-99, America's Country Music Station will serve as emcee for the event.

Featured performers already scheduled include both the Nashville-based Drew Davis Band and The Antennas, The Gaddis Girls from Springfield and local performers Michael Heaton Band, HOSS, Dave Ramont & Friends, Gabe Perez, Gallery and The Future Burns.

And that's just for starters.

This-year's day-long family festival will also feature a water slide, moon jump, and dunk tank (plus other kid-friendly activities) as well as both silent and live auctions and food - lots of food.
