Flavors Of Greece Festival 2009 (Kane County Fairgrounds)

You don't have to be Greek to visit the 26th Annual Flavors of Greece Festival this weekend at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles. Benefiting St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Aurora, the festival takes place from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Friday, May 22, and noon to 11:00 pm on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24.

Here are some compelling arguments in favor of attending Greek Fest (from the Flavors of Greece website):

  • People love to be “Greek for a day!”
  • The food is great and prepared with the same dedication year after year
  • The Greek culture is accentuated by the 3 days of Apollo Dance Troupe performances...as in the past, today and for many years to come in the future
  • The focus will always be on family fun, great food and the ethnic culture of our Greek heritage.

Immerse yourself in Greek culture this weekend. And tell 'em you heard it from The Voice!
